Inspired Russian Style Comes Home
This home located in River Oaks is a triumph of Russian style with European influences. Renowned architecture firm Ike Kligerman Barkley drew from the masterworks of the Russian Neoclassical period. We were involved from conception to finished home. The interior was meticulously designed to evoke this grand chapter of history.
In this exceptionally refined home, you can see the affirmation of our client’s many trips to St. Petersburg. The second floor is the Piano Nobile, making it the main entertaining space. Extensive trim detail on fourteen foot ceilings can be found throughout the home. The expansiveness creates the perfect backdrop to allow Russian Empire, French and English antiques to shine. Wool and silk hand-tufted rugs by Hokanson were custom made especially for this project.
