The K970 Ring Saw is a staple in the construction industry. For an all-round reliable 10" deep cutting gas saw, this gives you the blade life and cost necessary for larger cutting jobs.

Pre-cutting before a ring saw is very important. The blade is designed like a "ring" - easily able to move front of blade. A pre-existing cut made most commonly by the gas K970-14" or Hydraulic K2500. Using the Husqvarna HI Series Elite-Cut diamond blade offers the correct blade options.

Starting with the pre-cut saw, its important to know overall how deep you need to cut. If 10" is max then a .165" wide or larger pre-cut blade and .165" wide ring blade will work. However if you are using a chainsaw after the ring, your pre-cut should start with .235" wide, followed by the .235" ring blade. Allowing the chainsaw to fit into your existing cuts.

Standard 1/8" (.125) wide blade is not enough, the side clearance of ring blade will be worn out before segment height can be used.
